A three-day festival has started from today on the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Day in Awadh Shilp Gram of capital Lucknow. On this occasion, dignitaries from different regions of the state including Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are present. Craft fair, exhibitions, cultural programs are being organized in the festival. Songs of famous singers Kailash Khair, Nirhua and devotional singer Kanhaiya Mittal will also echo in the festival.
Addressing the function on this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the celebration of Uttar Pradesh Day started in 2017 after the formation of double engine government in the state. The correct picture of UP is emerging from this event. The identity of UP has changed in the development journey of the last five years. Before 2017, the state was known as the state of riots. Now the state is being recognized as an export state.
Apart from Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh, MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan and Sports Minister Girish Chandra Yadav also participated in the program on Tuesday morning.
Kavi Sammelan based on various dialects of Uttar Pradesh will be organized from 1 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday. Along with this, devotional music will be organized, in which Kanhaiya Mittal will be involved.
On the second day, on Wednesday, there will be presentation of cultural program by artists from other states, seminar on coarse grain, SSME, new tourism policy, agro and rural eco-tourism. Bhojpuri cultural evening will also be organized in which famous folk singer Dinesh Lal Nirhua will participate. The program will end with certificate distribution on the third day from 7 to 8.30 pm on Thursday. Renowned singer Kailash Kher will present Sufi singing on the concluding day.
